To move an inch has to move all parts connected to it.
Still it moves all day long and through night.
It has unsatiated hunger which creates the urge
To be unselfishly active.
It know not that in its despisable form
A beauty of butterfly with attemting wing is hidden.
If it waits and contnues its normal activities with movement and food
Without thought.
Then only incubation of a finer form is possible and a flight of
Beautiful butterfly is possible.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful poem sir. There are instances of success coming with hardship. We are aware that Albert Einstein was born with Developmental Learning Disorder (Dyslexia), Steven Spilberg (maker of Jurassic Park)was school dropout so was Bill Gates.
ReplyDeleteUnsatiated desire to move ahead in life, facing all stumbling blocks that come on their way helped them to move to the zenith in their respective fields. Most of stories went untold.
I believe happiness and eagerness to learn is the key to relish on one life that we are gifted with. An old saying, “A pain that does not kill you makes you stronger”. How true!
Life story of eagle would fit this adage.
To live till 70 years, eagle has to pass though a hard decision. It’s claws work properly till 40 years. After 40 years, become weak and can’t grab prey. It’s long and sharp beak also becomes bent. It’s thick feathers become stuck to chest due to heavy wings and can’t fly freely.
Then Eagle has left only two options: either die or pass through a painful process of the changes, which lasts 5 months. Now the painful process completed and it has to wait for 5 month to recover. After that it can make its fly to sky and can enjoy new birth. Now it can live 30 years more. When Eagle reached near 40, it’s beak,claws and feathers become weak.
For new life, eagle makes one hard decision. Eagle flies on top of a mountain and sits on nest. Then Eagle strikes its beak against a rock and pull it out. After that it waits for new beak to grow. Then it starts plucking out it’s talons. New talons grow back. Then it plucks its old and thick feathers.
Some change needs to survive in difficulty. In miserable condition, we have to change life style. That process may be very painful.
Sometimes we have to throw our old habits, memories and our daily routines. We can’t go ahead with all our past burdens. Then we have to free our burdens and sorrows.
